Certified quality
Our quality policies are based on certifications by IFS (International Food Standard) and BRC (British Retailer Consortium). These certifications ensure that our wines are safe and fully traceable. Both certifications are developed by leading food retailers. The BRC consists of the larger supermarkets in United Kingdom. This group has developed a standard their suppliers, including wine makers, have to adhere to. Only companies that produce and distribute food products are eligible for this quality certification. Part of the certification procedure includes an on site inspection of the food production facilities.
On their turn, French and German retailers formed the IFS. This is a standard for the auditing of companies that process food or companies that pack loose food products. Both BRC and IFS are auditing systems that guarantee uniformity, food safety, food quality and they aim to increase the overall reliability of food. IFS and BRC standards have a 90-95% overlap and, as such, they are very comparable.
As you may expect; all of our wines are produced under IFS and BRC standards.
